 while others come out of hibernation. The weather can be warm 

and sunny, but spring is also a time for rain. Be careful with

Every 17th March it is St. Patrick's Day

Lots of people all over the world celebrate on the 17th day of March in honor of St. Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland. Some cities have parades and most people wear green clothes. Saint Patrick Day is traditionally a day of dancing and feasting. 
Remember the vocabulary for this festival: Ireland, shamrock, leprechaun, pot, gold, rainbow, luck ...  and have a good day!

working in equality everyday. We conmemorate this day every 

year because we have to remember that everyone,  each boy and 

girl, each man and woman has the same rights and responsabilities.

Today is Pancake Day 2014

Pancake day is the day before Ash Wednesday (Miércoles de 

ceniza) and the start of Lent (Cuaresma). It is called Pancake Day 

because it is the day traditionally for eating pancakes in Ireland, 

UK and Scotland. Also, today, Pancake Races are a popular 

event in the UK.
