Today is a special day for children. It was in 1959 when we adopted the Declaration of the Rights of the Child. We commemorate this day every year to remember the chidren who don't achieve these important rights.

Europe Day

On 9 May 1950, Robert Schuman, the first President of the European Parliamentary Assembly, presented his proposal on the creation of an organised Europe.

This proposal, known as the 'Schuman declaration', is considered to be the beginning of the creation of what is now the European Union. That is the reason every 9th May it is celebrated the Europe Day.

23th, World Book Day

The connection between 23th April and books was made to honor the author Miguel de Cervantes, who died on this date. The date is also the anniversary of the death of Willian Shakespeare and Garcilaso de la Vega.

Write a letter to your friend !

Valentine's Day is coming and we have to be ready ! Send a card, make a present , say "I love you" to someone you love. It's a day for love and friendship !

Along this week, a "Love box" is going to be waiting for your cards at he school entrance. 

Take your time to do it nicely but remember that on Friday, we are going to hand out them.

(It is very important to write your name on the card and your friend's name too)

Blue Monday

Ten years ago, every third of January is "Blue Monday". It is said to be the most depressing day of the year, based on factors such as weather conditions, debt, the amount of time since Christmas, etc.  But we don't believe it 's going to be like that, so here you have a video to make you smile. Have a nice Monday!
