Do you imagine?
On every 16th January in the U.S.A Martin Luther King Day (MLK Day) is celebrated. He was a leader of the Civil Rights movement in 1960s in America. He hoped that black people and white people would begin to live together peacefully, with equal rights. In 1964, King received the Nobel Peace Prize.
At schools, we continue dreaming about equality and peace. Our school is preparing some activities for the Peace Day such as songs, wallpapers, dances and a charity market.
